The role 🧑‍🚀

Willa is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to work with testing together with our agile, cross-functional product teams. You will work in an (already) test-driven, flexible, full-stack environment including mobile app, backend, and web.

You will be a key member of Willa's growing product development team, able to have a massive impact on what we build and how we build it.

Your role will be to drive and develop our processes around Quality Assurance in the organization, create and maintain manual and automated tests, and provide the guidance, tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to the teams to assure quality is delivered.

Overall, you will be the champion of quality internally, working with both stakeholders and product teams to reduce bugs from being introduced, and ensure those that appear are dealt with in the best possible way.

What you'll do 👩‍💻

• Establish and improve test and release processes.
• Work with developers and stakeholders to improve the quality of products.
• Provide tools, frameworks, and infrastructure for testing in products teams.
• Drive the internal product quality strategy and processes.
• Organize bug reporting and triaging internally
• Execute manual testing and when relevant, creating and maintaining automated tests and frameworks.

Who are you? 🙋

• Experience in establishing and improving test and release processes.
• You’ve implemented and maintained test automation tools.
• Experience from testing in a full-stack environment with a mobile app.
• Knowledge of test infrastructure such as continuous integration, and experience of cloud platforms (we use GCP).
• You can work with developers to ensure development is done with quality, reliability, performance, and testability in mind.
• You are comfortable navigating the architecture to find root causes and find potential issues.
• Basic programming skills and understanding of app/mobile, backend, and web development.
• Excellent ability to communicate (in English) with both technical and non-technical people of different roles, both orally as well as written.
• You are continuously learning new things and keeping up to date with new technology

Nice to have 🌟

• Experience of the Flutter and Node/TypeScript eco-systems.
• Experience in working with payments.
• Team lead experience.
