The role 🧑‍🚀

We are looking for fresh out of college graduates who are interested in working with analytics and data-driven decision-making within the Credit risk domain.

Here at Willa, we are pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the area of payments to Freelancers. We are making sure that Freelancers can be paid instantly for their work, so that they can concentrate and focus on what they are truly good at, leaving the financial management and the processes involved there-in to us, Willa. To achieve these targets and survive in the long term requires skills and experience in the management of credit risk. To achieve this aim, we are building a team of excellent analysts who can set up best-in-class Credit decision-making systems (from credit scores to credit policies to credit monitors to credit governance).

At this stage, we are a start-up and the learning experiences at hand are innumerable. You will have the opportunity to work in a new age setup alongside engineers, product managers, customer experience experts, designers to make sure that the systems you build and design are well aligned across the whole organization. As an early member, you will have the chance to build from scratch and reap the invaluable lessons that will be on offer. You will also have an outsized influence on the course of the 'Risk Chapter' to shape its culture and identity.

• Build Credit Decision making systems that enable the efficient management of risk and growth
  • Credit Scores and Models
  • Leveraging new data sources to gain credit insight
  • Credit Policies
  • Credit Governance
  • Risk Limits

• Influence the overall Credit Product strategy

• Collaborate with other teams and other areas in an efficient and empowering manner

Who are you? 🙋

• Enjoy quantitative decision making

• A degree in quantitative fields is preferred but not required

• Truth-seeking

• Adept at being hands-on

• Sharp analytical mind, comfortable with both lateral thinking and vertical thinking

• Passionate, engaged, following through

• Enjoys constantly exploring and reassessing old truths

• A deep understanding of how to work with a team

• Native or fluent in English
